Prototyped, researched, and wrote an interactive presentation tool to accompany the American and British literature anthologies. The DVD-ROM features an image gallery, teacher notes, and a customizable presentation that introduces students to each literary movement by bringing the culture and history of the period to life. Students can use the tool to explore the events and ideas that influenced writers and the influences on society.

Researched and wrote unit introductions, giving students a historical and cultural background for literary movements. Wrote and researched author biographies and background notes on the historical and cultural events that influenced each writer. Wrote student lessons with accompanying teacher notes and answers.

Researched and wrote reading passages, students writing models, and vocabulary passages for the 2008 Grade 6 Reading Street student edition. Wrote new skill instructional material and comprehension and vocabulary questions. Adapted existing material to fit new program goals of helping teachers motivate students and engage them in literature.

Wrote narrative, descriptive, persuasive, opinion, and expository writing prompts to accompany fine art images. The prompts encouraged students to write about the image or something related to the image.

Wrote assessments for children's books, nonfiction books, and teen novels to test students' comprehension of each book they completed. The Read 180 Program is designed to combat illiteracy by encouraging students to read by meeting different needs and interests.
